Your Purpose:

To manage and lead all things safeguarding across the organisation. As the Safeguarding Manager you will work closely with our team of Designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure that our Learners can thrive in a safe environment by liaising where necessary with external agencies.

To have extensive knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, adult and child protection legislation and regulations and how this is applied across the UK, with substantial hands on experience of managing safeguarding concerns, disclosures and a wide range of incidents including liaising with external agencies. You must also have a thorough understanding of the compliance aspects that relate to alternative provision and commissioned services.

To have a strong sense of resilience and an ability to remain calm and professional, especially in what can be stressful situations. You will also have a methodical approach to managing multiple priorities and be able to problem solve with an open mind.

Job Title: Safeguarding Manager

Location: Head Office, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG18 5ER with travel to R.E.A.L. Sites

Weeks: 39 Weeks – term time only

Hours: 37.5

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
