R.E.A.L Education provides both independent special schools placements and market leading alternative education. We are seeking someone who has knowledge and experience of delivering a mechanic provision, ideally in a SEN/D provision.
One of our more popular vocational subjects with our learners is mechanics. We deliver from our garages in Mansfield and Nottingham city centre. These garages are unique in that they are fully equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to deliver qualifications to our learners. The garages are also very lucky to have an excellent team of Group Tutors who pride themselves on using innovative approaches to engagement in education.
Our Mechanics Team in Mansfield have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanics Tutor to fulfil the role of Provisions Manager and drive forward the provision and increase the offer to our learners and future learners.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on, willing to roll up their sleeves to get stuck in and has some experience of working with young people who can sometimes display challenging behaviours. To be a role model to not only our learners but also our R.E.A.L. Mechanics team and feel confident in driving improvements within this setting.
Job Title: Mechanics Provision Manager
Location: Mansfield
Weeks: 48 Weeks (41 working weeks plus 7 weeks holiday entitlement)
Hours: 37.5
Salary: £27,000 – £33,000 per annum
