It is a privilege to welcome you to our RIS Blidworth school website. As Head of School, it has been an honour to work with a school team dedicated to improving the life chances of our learners. Our team have worked tirelessly over the years to provide each child with an exciting, individualised and broad curriculum which engages, motivates and fosters a love of learning, whilst also preparing them for adulthood. We work on the principle that every child has a future and aspire to ensure that all learners have a successful journey through our school.
Set over two sites, RIS Blidworth caters for learners aged 7 to 19 years and offers a wide variety of qualifications from BTEC, GCSE and Functional Skills to A level and vocational qualifications.
The KS2/3 RIS Blidworth site is set in the heart of the village of Blidworth. You won’t miss our building, with its iconic tower, a reminder that the site once served as the village fire station. The building has been completely transformed into a modern learning environment with lots of creative and engaging activities in the playground area outside.
The KS4/5 RIS Blidworth site is at Concorde House in Mansfield. It is a modern learning environment with lots of different rooms, including a purpose built science lab and STEM room that provide learners with the appropriate resources to complete qualifications up to A-Level.
